We discuss your project needs, desired style, and site conditions, focusing on a bold, natural look with large boulders.
Boulder bush rock retaining walls are constructed using large, natural bush rock boulders, each with its own unique shape, size, and texture. This creates a bold, rugged, and earthy aesthetic that blends seamlessly into gardens, rural properties, and natural landscapes.
Boulder bush rock retaining walls use irregular, uncut boulders, typically ranging from 300 mm up to 1500 mm (or more) in diameter. These rocks are naturally shaped, requiring careful placement and interlocking during installation.

Construction involves selecting, rotating, and bedding boulders. To ensure stability we methodically place the stone with bonding layers, similar to that of brickwork. Proper footing preparation, compaction, and back-of-wall drainage are essential to maintain long-term structural integrity.
Recommended for all retaining walls, including rural properties, large-scale landscaping, and projects that prioritize a natural, robust, and rustic aesthetic. Once installed, they offer excellent durability and load-bearing performance.
